More than just a road we’re about people
We need employees from many different professions and trades, with a broad range of skills.
We are looking for people at all stages of their careers.
We want people with a positive attitude, who want to make a real difference for communities and businesses across
the northern rivers.
We are working with North Coast TAFE, job active agencies and the North Coast Employment Accord to
ensure local jobseekers along the entire 155 kilometre alignment of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific
Highway upgrade (W2B) have access to employment opportunities.
Be job ready for the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade
Pacific Complete induction including Next Gear safety training are now available!
Our induction is free but you need photo ID and a construction industry card to participate.
If you don’t yet have a job with the Woolgoolga to Ballina team but would like to work on the program this training is for you.
Being inducted and receiving Next Gear safety training means you’re ready to go if you’re offered a job on the W2B.
Completing the induction does not guarantee you a job on the program – but it does mean you’re job ready.
Please continue to look at the Current employment opportunities

Develop skills in a supportive and culturally inclusive environment
Our people value working in a culture that plans for, and encourages diversity, recognising the value
of individual differences and we know diversity and inclusion helps us to:
- Provide better customer service
- Build greater capacity for innovation and problem solving
- Increase productivity and performance.
Providing meaningful career opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through increasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation
on the W2B project creates positive impact on both the local and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Developing a workforce more representative of the community means we are better able to serve the wider NSW community.
We are committed to increasing the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our workforce and we encourage
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply for positions on W2B.
We offer recent graduates, vocational education and training students and university students the opportunity to be
part of W2B.
